Hard workers
My Honey has been working so hard on the front yard and it looks great, so proud of him... and his little helper too...
My girlies after I fix their hair, Ms. Marla's beauty shop opens about 2:45... call for your appointment today! LOL
Here is my little love bunny hard at work on his cascarones.... We have to break it into mini sessions because he loses interest pretty fast!
Now who says two sides can't come together, here are Noah and Kyle and they were still acting silly! Go Sand Gnats and Grasshoppers!
So yesterday my honey had to go to Tractor Supply (so cute to say his name and Tractor Supply LOL) because my man was a'workin on the yard and had to get a part to fix his lawnmower (so cute to say his name with yard work AND lawnmower). He asks Mr. Noah if he wants to go and of course, Momma has to throw in that they probably have the baby chicks in for Easter so he can get to see them while he's there, that was of course a big mistake... The chicks weren't even even though Johnny said, even though I am sure he wanted to kill me, that there was a sign in place saying don't touch the chicks so he was sure they were coming in... but my son WAS NOT a happy camper and insisted that I said Office Depot, which is next door, and not Tractor Supply... So Johnny has him call me on there way home because he is one upset child and I tell him, sorry son I did say Tractor Supply AND he still tells me that I didn't... I am totally dreading their arrival back home because I already know I am going to get my tail chewed for even mentioning those dang chicks... I should know better.... I always seem to get myself in trouble that way... LOL Soooo, long story short, I call today to find out when they are coming so I can make sure I don't mention it again...
ME: Yes, can you tell me when the chicks will be coming in?
THEM: There are usually some here every day...
ME: Are you out, because my husband took my soon in yesterday and there was only a sign, no chicks...
THEM: Mam, I am willing to bet money that you can come in just 'bout any day and there will be at least one chick working the register...
REALLY? I haven't laughed that hard in a while because he totally got me... Thanks Tractor Supply, I'll be in to see your chicks soon...
Well, they had a pool and since it was all about Noah, how could I say no? LOL... He did do the river, it was so cute, he would walk up about ten feet and then float down...
Here he is chomping on his first Smore ever! Even though I grew up camping, I had never had a smore either so I made one too... They were pretty good!
And the Ghost stories have begun!
The Survivors, Noah, Gabriel and Gavin with Christian in the back... They had a blast and I am glad, it sure isn't the same when you are a grown up, now I know why my mom wasn't ever to excited about camping, we have to pack, unpack, cook clean and worst of all... go home with more work to do! See, it makes you appreciate all that stuff (remember this Noah) :)
On our way to our camping trip
Here we go!!
And the ten is up... even though I WAS a little worried at first....
During this season of Lent, I think so many times of the journey our Lord is preparing to take... through Mary's eyes. And I think of you, my sweet boy and cannot imagine the pain and heartache she endured as she watched her son. Noah, the minute I found out we were blessed with a baby I turned you over to our Blessed Mother, I waited my whole life for you and I laid myself and you before her and asked as a Mother herself, that she help me to keep you healthy and safe, my promise to her that day and everyday since has been that if she helped me guide you, the example of pure love that she is, that I would do my best to raise you as a strong Catholic/Christian man and that your life would be open to God's will as I pray ours are every day. I think of what she endured, and I try so hard to tell my self that just as she did, there may be times that I have to stand back and let God's will be done, even if it is painful. I pray for joy and peace everyday of your life Noah Croix, but most importantly I pray that you answer God's call for the purpose of your life. I love you son, with every breathe I take...
