Where have I been...?

It has been super crazy busy and I have actually been dying to get on here and post but I never seem to have the chance... It is an absolutely gorgeous beautiful day today and makes life so grand... Here at home, which is unusual for us, relaxing on a Saturday. Noah had a game this morning and we are back here at the house relaxing. I can't believe we only have two weeks left of kindergarten, time surely has flown and my first school year is almost behind us... can't believe it. I have learned so much from this time with my son, and not just coloring and pasteing and I have built so many great relationships with people, I am not saying that the transition was always is but it was definitely the right choice... love my little guy.
I am getting ready to start cleaning my house a bit, I seem to be doing that a lot! but hey, such as the life of a diva!! I am totally looking forward to summer and all the adventures Noah Croix and I are going to have... it will be a blast!

Memories

Every day when I leave my little part-time job I drive up Nolte street, the place where I grew up, The house isn't there anymore, but this is the Oak tree that was in my backyard...

love it...

The Walnut creek that ran along side my old house is getting renovations, I grew up playing in these creeks, we were jungle kids...

I am so excited about seeing it restored to it's original beauty, I feel like I am at home when I see all the familiar spots come alive again..

I can remember playing there and glimpsing at all the overgrowth and seeing the beauty of the sidewalks and bridges covered, wondering what they used to look like...

and now I see things coming together and it feels like a part of my life is a picture becoming more and more vivid

i remember climbing around all these railings, running through the thickness of the creek bed and feeling like it was a part of us...

and I can't wait to see it restored to its original beauty...
