So ready!

Well, we have been meeting all summer and it's finally time for our Women's ACTS retreat this weekend, I am so looking forward to spending 4 days with all my girls and meeting 32 new girls that are gonna just add to our big happy ACTS family...  It's going to be an amazing weekend and I absolutely can't wait!  The only sad thing is that it is going to be over as quick as it starts...  :'(  I have much to do left on my to do list, including finishing up my cute aprons for my team...  Can't wait to see how they turn out!

On the homefront we are making some major changes in our house.  After much discussion and deliberation we are pulling our son out of St. James and putting him in public school.  It wasn't an easy decision but I absolutely feel it is the best decision for him and I am looking forward to meeting our new Weinert family.  I am going to miss St. James, but it is time for a much needed change, first grade was a hard year and I am ready to start fresh.  Prayers are appreciated!  Noah is excited and ready, I was a little worried that it might be too soon, but after Spurs camp last week, I know my son never meets a stranger and will make friends fast.

I'm signing off and praying for an awesome weekend for my 40 sisters on team with me and our 32 retreatants we are welcoming into our hearts!

It's about time!

Well, vacation was absolutely wonderful, and it was hard coming back.  This is the first time I remember ever actually letting everything go and just being in the moment.  The weather was gorgeous, the time spent just being peaceful was much needed.  Coming back to the hustle and bustle of everyday life has been hard, but life is good and I had to give myself a little attitude adjustment and remember, that even in the hurriedness of life, I am truly blessed.

I couldn't believe that today we went to Target and they already have school supplies out...  WAAAHHHH, I am so not ready for school to start that it makes me sad...  UGH, but it is just around the corner.  We have really had a great summer and we do have a month left, gotta make the most of it.

Noah has bible school next week and he is also starting Hip Hop dance classes, and really excited about it, how cute is that.  He has basketball camp the week after that and then football camp the week after that and then....  womp womp womp just another couple of weeks and school starts.  We still have one more trip to the coast planned, gotta do our Schlitterbahn visit and I'm sure plenty of fun things in between...  This has truly been the absolute best summer we have had...  Praise God!

I'm super excited that our neighbor asked to use our yard to promote his landscaping business...  he's gonna start working on it next week and we get the benefits of a beautiful yard and he will have something to show people and hopefully start up his business!  Definitely a win win situation....   Now if I could just magically get my house cleaned and organized....  HUMMMMMMMM...  my lucky husband sure is benefiting from this little arrangement.
